In recent years, we have observed massive digital transformation in public and private sectors notably after the pandemic outbreak. The transformation has created convenience for the society to access business and public services in their daily lives. Unfortunately, in parallel to that, we are also seeing headlines of more rampant cyber attacks by irresponsible parties that have caused financial, reputational, and psychological pain to the society across the world. While there is no absolute silver bullet to address cyber attacks, corporations across the globe are responding to this situation by aligning cyber security to their business strategies and governing cyber security. In this session, Firdaus will be sharing how cyber security governance plays an important role in edotco’s ESG initiative and how to make cyber security governance effective, instead of a tick-the-box activity.
